Oscar Wilde once said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but when it comes to unauthorized used of our cars, photography and information, this is a different matter altogether.



It has come to our attention that a criminal organization is unlawfully making use of the name of a company in the Netherlands, EM-N8 Classics BV, and using our photography and information of our vehicles to take deposits from clients. Adding insult to injury, all the vehicles featured are part of our current or sold stock, feature incorrect pricing, and obscured license plates where our branding should be.

Take our 1955 Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, for example. Originally advertised at $1,250,000 USD, the same number has been used in Euro form. Note how our ‘Tomini Classics’ logo on the plates has been replaced with a black rectangle. This car sold in January of 2021, and still remains advertised. Other minor subtleties, like the spelling of ‘Mercedes’ as ‘Mersedes’, as some of the minor discrepancies to watch out for!

Rule of thumb: trust the original source, Tomini Classics, and avoid intermediaries marketing our cars. All our official email communication has and as our official email domains. We do not have any authorized partnerships with any dealers or brokers to sell Tomini stock on our behalf. At Tomini Classics, we are honoured to showcase what is effectively the first physical McLaren Speedtail for sale anywhere in the world. Delivered as a Gulf-specification car, this Speedtail is the second production car to leave the factory, and is optioned with nearly $600,000 USD in extras. The colour, Frozen Diamond Silver, is a light metallic blue with a special crushed diamond metallic flake, and Nubuck leather interior to match. Impressions: 2019 Dubai Motor Show

Every other year, the Dubai International Motor Show delights automotive enthusiasts from across the region. Showcasing everything between new car releases, prototypes, exotics, customs and classics, the Dubai Motor Show always has a multitude of high-octane attractions for everyone attending.

The biggest theme in this 2019 edition seemed to be electrification. And although not really our cup of tea (for the time being), we could not but be impressed at some of the new cars on display, especially the sleek Aspark OWL, with a top speed of 280kph and a range of 300 kilometres —not bad at all!

Ever since 2015, we definitely feel a growing presence of Chinese car manufacturing as well. The Asian giant’s manufacturing capabilities are improving year to year, slowly distancing their car industry from derivative designs. Of all the Chinese cars showcased in 2019, we got a kick out of the Hongqi L5, the equivalent of the Mercedes Grand 600 as the vehicle of choice for heads of state. The retro styling and sheer size of the car captured a lot of the visitors’ attention during the show.

In our particular case, we have showcased fifteen of our finest cars this year, with two special chronological series on the Porsche 911 and the Mercedes SL. While at it, we were able to make some last-minute adjustments and have our very own world premiere for our 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing. See a video of our display below!

Finally, we had the immense honour to meet and talk cars with Eddie Jordan, the F1 heavyweight and former Top Gear host responsible for Michael Schumacher’s debut. A true living legend!

All in all, we believe this to be one of our most successful editions of the Dubai Motor Show to date. The event’s coordination was right on point, and our team worked tirelessly towards making our stand one of the most liked ones at the show. We’d like to thank all of you, old and new friends, who visited us at the World Trade Center this month —we couldn’t have made it without you! We hope to see you in the next edition, in 2021.

A night to remember: Don Law

Dubai’s position in the supercar firmament grants us incredible opportunities to collaborate with legends of the automotive world. At the end of June 2019, Tomini Classics partnered with Veloce Life and Bremont Watches to bring Jaguar XJ220 extraordinaire Don Law, the most trusted authority on Jaguar’s flagship supercar of the 1990’s.

Based off Stoke-on-Kent, in the UK, Don Law Racing is a family-run business specializing in the mighty Jaguar XJ220, the brand’s limited-production car and Ferrari F40 challenger. After the XJ220 project was terminated by Jaguar, Don Law Racing bought all the tooling and spare parts and continued to perform maintenance and upgrades for the limited number of owners who still owned an XJ220.

In this special night, we gathered over 60 people eager to hear about Don Law’s experience with the brand and the car itself. With an actual XJ220 provided by Veloce Life and a display of watches courtesy of Bremont, the event became an octane-infused success.

Veloce Life is newly established brand seeking to bring together car enthusiasts from around the region and provide a new opportunity for consumers and fans of luxury lifestyle brands to experience unique products. Ranging from cars to watches as well as art pieces, they create experiences unlike any other.

The Bremont Watch Company is a award-winning British watch manufacturer founded in 2002, inspired by a love and passion for aviation, engineering adventure. In this particular event, Bremont displayed a special collection in tribute to the legendary models of the Jaguar Motorcar brand.

Blue Cavallino: our 599 GTZ Nibbio Zagato

Few cars at Tomini Classics have garnered as much attention from the media as our 2007 Ferrari 599 GTZ. From our first reveal on our Instagram to its appearance on Supercar Blondie’s channel, its design and rarity have made it an instant hit.

Originally born as a 2007 GTB, one of 40 manual gearbox 599 models to ever leave the factory, this car was delivered new to us in our Kuwaiti branch. Given its rarity, we purchased the car; however, we wished to take it a step further. Back in the mid-2010’s, Zagato opened up nine lucky slots in a series of bespoke, completely custom-built bodies for the 599 GTB. We opted for the last slot, and submitted the only manual car of the nine, keeping with our purist philosophy and honoring the original 250 GTZ LWB Tour de France in its colour scheme and configuration: two-tone paint, front V12 and manual gearbox. In this 599 GTZ series, one or two were GTO specification; much more powerful but lacking the analog charm of the original.

Completely coachbuilt in carbon fibre, the 599 GTZ features a few bespoke touches in the interior, while still retaining all 599 GTB switchgear. The engine and gearbox have not been altered in any way, yet they do not deprive the car of a unique exhaust note in line with the car’s own personality.

We not only consider ourselves lucky to be the guardians of this car in its short stay with us: we also take great pride in sponsoring the House of Zagato to imbue its essence into our car, and knowing we formed part of automotive history in doing so.

Doug DeMuro visits Tomini Classics

Doug DeMuro, the well-known automotive journalist and YouTube celebrity, has hit the shores of Dubai ready to review some of the quirks and features in some of the rarest cars in the region. In this new partnership, Tomini Classics and Doug DeMuro have teamed up to offer audiences worldwide a more intimate look at the exotics of yesteryear: our 1963 Ferrari 250GT Lusso, our 1973 Lamborghini Espada and our 1971 Maserati Ghibli are some of the cars he has reviewed, to finally assign them his personal ‘Dougscore’ on a scale of zero to 100.

Chopard Rally 2017: Announcement

Chopard, along with partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons and Emaar Properties present the first edition of the Chopard Classic Rally Dubai, a two-day demanding competitive regularity rally. This rally will take place on November 10th and 11th bringing together 30 teams, which will pilot from Dubai in their vintage automobiles along some of the beautiful enchanting scenery of the UAE deserts, mountains and roads.

The Chopard Classic Rally Dubai is a rigorous test of timing and navigational skills, offering to 60 aficionados the opportunity to challenge their driving abilities. Starting from the iconic Burj Khalifa in Dubai, set in the heart of Emaar’s mega-development Downtown Dubai, and going towards the northern emirates, passing by Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah, the rally map follows a different challenging itinerary each day throughout the UAE lands with the Hatta and Jebel Jais mountains as main landscapes. A gala dinner will be held on the evening of the final day during which the winners of the regularity will be rewarded.

Karl-Friedrich Scheufele, Chopard Co-President and a passionate driver of collector’s cars, will be taking part in this first edition, competing along with legendary pilot Jacky Ickx.
